President Asif Ali Zardari and Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain held a telephonic conversation on Thursday night. Both the leaders discussed overall political situation in the country. They also talked about law and order situation in Karachi.Altaf Hussain apprised the president about the extortion mafia’s activities in Karachi and demanded action against the culprits.The MQM chief also demanded to finalise arrangements for local bodies elections in Sindh as soon as possible.President assured the MQM leader that action will be taken against the extortion mafia in extortion mafia in Karachi very soon.
