Sugar transportation banned in Peshawar

Due to the shortage, transportation of sugar has been banned in Peshawar. DCO Peshawar Sahibzada Anees has banned the transportation of sugar in Peshawar under Clause 144. Talking to Dunya News, Sahibzada Anees said that sugar was being provided to nearby districts and tribal areas of Peshawar but the dealers of those areas were purchasing sugar from Peshawar markets. Prices of sweets and bakery products were also increased due to the shortage of sugar.
