PM announces Mirpur airport, increase in LPG quota for AJK

PM has said that an international airport in would be built in Mirpur AJK.

Prime Minister Raja Parvez Ashraf has said that the Federal government would honour its commitment to build an international airport in Mirpur Azad Kashmir.He was talking to President of AJK Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob‚ Prime Minister Chaudhry Abdul Majeed‚ Minister for Kashmir Affairs Mian Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo and Senior Minister of AJK Chaudhry Yaseen in Islamabad on Thursday.The Prime Minister assured that the construction of Lower Topa-Kohala duel carriageway would be given due priority.He directed the relevant authorities to adhere to seven percent quota of LPG for Azad Kashmir as its non-observance was compelling the people to cut trees to meet their pressing cooking needs.
