Newly-elected MPA Wahida Shah who slapped polling staff was acquitted by the court in Hyderabad.

Additional Session Judge conducted hearing of Wahida Shah case. After hearing arguments from both sides, the court ordered to acquit Wahida Shah on all charges.It is worthy of note that Wahida Shah had been penalized by the court as she had smacked the Presiding Officer during by-polls.So far the case against her ineligibility is concerned; it is being conducted in the Sindh High Court.
