Decision inappropriate, PM reacts

Reacting to the decision outside court premises, PM Gilani said he was expecting better decision.

While talking to the media, Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani said that the verdict taken by the Supreme Court is not appropriate. He said that he had prayed justice from court but it was denied. He said that the decision of appeal would be made by his legal experts. So far as the next strategy is concerned, it would be prepared in consultation with coalition partners.On the other hand, the federal Minister for Information Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that an appeal will be filed against the verdict. Addressing the media outside Supreme Court, she lamented that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has always been victimised by judiciary.She said PM will continue to chair the session of cabinet despite being convicted by the court today.
