Life remains paralyzed as curfew continues in Gilgit.

Security forces continue patrolling the streets on the 13th consecutive day in Gilgit. The administration announced relaxation in curfew till 6PM.Curfew has badly affected business in Gilgit. Severe shortage of edible items and POL products has been reported to the closure of Karakoram highway.However, people managed to buy some of the essential items during the relaxation hours yesterday. Meanwhile, ban on wearing jackets and shawls is still being imposed in Gilgit.The session of legislative assembly has also been postponed due to curfew.The residents have demanded the security force to restore peace in the city.
