SC allows Haqqani to record statement via video link

The Supreme Court on Friday allowed Hussain Haqqani to record his statement via video link.

The apex court accepted Hussains request and ordered the hearing to be recommenced on April 19.Hussain Haqqani took the plea that his life is under threat in Pakistan, so the Supreme Court allows him to record his statement through video link like Mansoor Ejaz who played lead role in memo-gate scandal.Ten-members larger bench of the Supreme Court, headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, will resume the hearing of the petition on April 19.
