Tense situation prevails in the city after killing of 7 people including 4 PPP workers.

Unidentified people shot dead PPP activist Imran near Sakhi Hassan Chorangi in Karachi in early hours of Saturday.Earlier on Friday night, some unknown motorcyclists shot dead three workers of Pakistan People’s Party including Nafees Irfan and Gulzar who were sitting on a shop in Urdu Chowk Orangi Town.The PPP workers tries to take the dead body of a worker to the chief Minister’s house but police stopped them near Shaheen Complex.Sindh CM Qaim Ali Shah assured that the culprits would be arrested soon and the families of the victims would be compensated. The protesters dispersed after the issurance.Inanother incidents, some unknown motorcyclists gunned down Muhammad Naeem Sheikh who was Imam of Sarjani Town Mosque.In Khamosh Colony, a clerk Faizan was injured in firing on the car of Assistant Commissioner Central Sheikh Rafique.Some unidentified motorcyclists shot dead Abdullah in Godhra area of New Karachi. According to the sources, the deceased was an activist of a banned outfit.Moreover, three vegetable sellers including Saqib, Gulzar and Khan Bahadur were injured in firing by unknown people near Jamat Khana while Iqbal and Inayat were injured in firing in Awani Colony Landhi.
