Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 is now the biggest worldwide box office hit ever The biggest hit not directed by James Cameron. Which is still saying something, as its nearly impossible to match King of the World Cameron at the box office.Over the weekend, as it opened to great numbers in China, the final Potter film rose to a staggering $1,333.9 billion total, in the process passing The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King to become the third highest grossing worldwide hit of all time. The only two films that have made more money are Titanic and Avatar. While Deathly Hallows Part 2 probably has plenty more left in the tank to get at least another hundred million or so, if not more, its very unlikely to reach Titanics $1,843.2 billion and certainly not going to match Avatars Holy Crap worthy $2,782.3 billion.
