Animated 3D movie Rio makes its US premiere

The premiere of the animated film, Rio was held at Graumans Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

Hollywood superstars Anne Hathaway, Jesse Eisenberg and Jamie Fox were present at the premiere, on April 10. The film is about the adventures of Blu, a rare blue parrot living in the United States, who travels to Rio, where he meets a female counterpart named Jewel, who shows him around town.Rio will be up in the US cinema houses on April 15. The movie will open next weekend in 19 additional markets including France, Belgium and Italy.
