Johnny Depp is Rango, a lone lizard on an existential quest to figure out his true identity, in the new computer-animated action comedy, Rango.

Johnny Depp said the original idea to create the story of a western lizard came during the filming of Pirates of the Caribbean and was partially inspired by one of Jack Sparrows many quirks. Child star, Abigail Breslin, plays a kid mouse with a strange obsession for death. Despite this dark side, Breslin says the film and its characters are as endearing as any fluffy animated creature.
