(Wed Desk) - Today Pakistan celebrates its 70th independence day, with its historic rival India following a day later. The two states share a tense relationship but a viral anthem called the “peace anthem” has been attempting to preach the message of peace and love between the two countries.

A Facebook page, ‘Voice of Ram’ after their hit on August 11 – a video featuring an Indian a capella group - Voxchord, singing Pakistan s national anthem, has just released a video presenting both the Pakistani and Indian National anthems sung by singers from both the countries.

The compilation is a beautiful insignia of strong vocals and heartfelt emotions celebrating the 70th Independence Day of the two countries. Sticking to the chronological order of the Independence, the video features Pakistan’s national anthem prior to that of India.

The video begins with the words, "When we open our borders to art, peace comes along”, and the footage closes with the words, "Let s stand together for peace”.

Filmmaker and activist Ram Subramanian, who heads Voice of Ram, told an Indian WEBSITE< Catch News that the reason he made the videos was "because a lot of people are afraid to speak about peace, and it s an illogical fear". "To me, these videos mean a new beginning, another small step towards peace," Subramanian said.
