Peoples Choice Awards ceremony was held in Los Angeles, which is presented on the basis of national vote. This years award for Favorite Actor for the second time was won by Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny Depp. He was ahead of actor Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert Downey Jr., as well as the stars of Twilight Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. But the Twilight saga has not been left without prizes. The Twilight Saga Eclipse has been named the favorite movie of Americans, and the main character of the movie, Christine Stewart won the Best Supporting Actress award. Eclipse also won an award for Best Drama Movie, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse also bagged favorite On Screen Team awrd Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner.In the category Favorite Family Movie winner was Toy Story 3, and Iron Man 2 was awarded the Favorite Action Movie, and Favorite comedy for Americans was the movie Grown Ups. Jackie Chan won the award as Favorite Action Star, and Adam Sandler was named the favorite comedic star.Categories Favorite Male Artist and Favorite Hip Hop Artist were won by the rapper Eminem, while Katy Perry was conferred with favorite female artist and online sensation awards. Favorite song of Americans was Eminems Love the Way You Lie featuring Rihanna, and Favorite Music Video award was also won by this song by Eminem.
