LAHORE (Dunay News) - The 22nd death anniversary of poetess Parveen Shakir is being observed today (Monday).
Parveen Shakir became a much-admired poetess with her first published collection Khushbu in 1976.
She received the Pride of Performance award over her noteworthy contributions to Urdu literature in Pakistan while she had also served as a teacher and a civil employee.
