Indian 'Zindagi' relies heavily on Pakistani entertainment content

NEW DELHI (Dunya News) – Zee Media Corporation, a privately-owned conglomerate of India has announced to consider stopping broadcast of Pakistani content over latest tensions between the neighbours after Baramulla attack.

Chairman of Zee News, Dr Subhash Chandra who also serves as Member of the Parliament has sided with extremist sections who called for ban on Pakistani content as well as artists after Indian soldiers were attacked in Uri Town of Occupied Kashmir’s Baramulla District.



Dr Chandra’s announcement has come in a couple of days after Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan among other Pakistani artists were threatened to leave India once and for all.

As Chandra mentioned in his message, the decision to consider the halt has come in after Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif addressed the General Assembly of the United Nations over Indian-held Kashmir valley.

Earlier this week, the premier drew curtains apart on Indian brutality in Kashmir and unjust occupation for over seven decades.

It should be mentioned here that Indian  Zindagi  relies heavily on Pakistani entertainment content.
