She wants her children to make their decisions for themselves, says pop star

LAHORE (Web Desk) – Music sensation Madonna has endorsed ‘moderate’ usage of drugs by teens as according to her it is ‘absurd’ to teach an 18-year-old the dos and don’ts and thus she would not ban dangerous habits on her children including drugs.

According to the Mirror, the 56-year-old said on Jonathan Ross Show in an interview that her daughter Lourdes who just turned 18 is allowed to do whatever she wants. “I just ask my daughter to make wise decisions and to do things in moderation and to try not to mix her alcohol,” she said.

She wants her children to make their decisions for themselves, she added. A couple of years back, Madonna described herself in an interview as a “strict parent”. She said her son David, then 12, was not allowed to use a mobile phone until he was older enough.

While conversing with Ross about drugs Madonna said that she personally never liked doing drugs. She had done it a handful of times. ‘I just did not enjoy it. I wanted it out of me,” Madonna said.
