Renowned lyricist Riaz-ur-Rehman Saghar dies
Journalist-poet-lyricist, Riaz-ur-Rehman Saghar, breathed his last in Lahore on Saturday.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Renowned lyricist Riaz-ur-Rehman Saghar breathed his last in Lahore on Saturday. He was 72.
Riaz-ur-Rehman was suffering from cancer and was under treatment at a private hospital in Lahore.
He authored more than 2,000 songs for Pakistani as well as Indian movies.
He also wrote songs for PTV’s children programme Aangan Aangan Tarey .
Riaz-ur-Rehman’s published works inlcude ‘Aangan Aangan Taaray’, ‘Arz Kiya Hai’, ‘Who Bhi Kya Din Thay’ and ‘Chand Jharokay Mai’.
