ANF foils heroin smuggling bid at Lahore airport
Earlier in October, the force had seized a huge cache of narcotics in Rawalpindi
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) on Thursday has foiled heroin smuggling bid to Europe at Allama Iqbal International Airport.
The force seized at least 70 capsules filled with heroin during checking after boarding the plane.
The authorities said that the culprit belongs to Gujrat and drugs were seized from secret compartments of his bag. The law enforcers have arrested the culprit and initiated interrogation.
Law enforcers also raided a place near Namal College in Mianwali and seized at least four kilograms of Hashish while a criminal hailing from Khyber Agency was apprehended.
Earlier in October, the force had seized a huge cache of narcotics and held as many as ten smugglers in different operations in Rawalpindi.
Moreover in Karachi, the ANF arrested a drug dealer and recovered at least 11 Kg of Charas from his possession. The culprit was arrested from Nusrat Bhutto Colony.
