ICC updates Test team rankings, Pakistan at 7 after Sri Lanka defeat
India and South Africa have taken number 1 and 2 spots while England occupy the third place
(Web Desk) - International Cricket Council (ICC) has updated Test team rankings after Pakistan has been whitewashed by Sri Lanka in the UAE Test series. The green shirts have been positioned at number 7 after the series defeat, their first after 2002 in the UAE.
India and South Africa have occupied the number 1 and 2 spots, respectivaly. England is positioned at number 3, above both New Zealand and Australia have 97 points.
Sri Lanka is now above Pakistan by gripping the 6th place.The difference of points between the two sides is 6. Pakistan is above West Indies with a gap of 13 points.
