Bangladesh spinner Abdur Razzak injured in road accident
The 35-year-old player is the third highest wicket-taker for the side
(Web Desk) – Left-arm spinner for the Bangladesh side, Abdul Razzak sustained injuries in a car crash on Tuesday however the cricketer is not critical.
Reportedly, the cricketer was travelling with his wife, two-year-old son, nieces and sister when the vehicle met an accident in Gopalganj.
A tyre problem has been stated as the reason behind the car falling in a canal.
Test skipper of the side, Mushfiqur Rahim took to Facebook on Tuesday: “Our very own Razzak Raz bhai had a severe accident on his way from Khulna. I request you all to pray for him please!!!”
The 35-year-old player is the third highest wicket-taker for the side and is the one out of three players with 200 wickets in ODIs.
