Two probable changes in Pak team for South Africa match
Fakhar Zaman, Junaid Khan could replace Ahmed Shehzad and Wahab Riaz in ICC Champions Trophy battle
(Web Desk) – After the embarrassing defeat against India, Pakistan cricket team will make two probable changes in the 11 for ICC Champions Trophy 2017 match against South Africa on June 7.
Fakhar Zaman spent long hours in the nets which is why experts believe he will be added in the team, replacing opener Ahmed Shehzad who failed to make his mark in the arch-rivals game. The 25-year-old batsman had scored just 12 runs of 22 balls with one boundary to his name.
Fakhar Zaman been batting long in the nets today, reports that he could replace Ahmad Shehzad for tomorrow s game.

Zaman, on other hand, is a promising young talent who has played for Lahore Qalandars in Pakistan Super League (PSL). The 27-year-old bats left-handed and also bowls slow left-arm orthodox. He is expected to open with Azhar Ali, if added in the playing 11.
Wahab Riaz suffered a bad ankle injury during the India game. While bowling in the death overs, he fell on the ground and injured his foot. The left-arm pacer was then hospitalised and dropped from Champions Trophy squad. PCB confirmed on Tuesday Islamabad United star Rumman Raees will replace the injured Wahab Riaz.
Moreover, left-arm pacer Junaid Khan will get a chance to prove his mettle in tomorrow’s match against the mighty South Africa. The 27-year-old played his last ODI against West Indies in April where he took the one wicket by giving away 41 runs in the six-over spell. Many critics including Shoaib Akhtar questioned Sarfraz Ahmed s captaincy for dropping Khan in the previous big match.
