Mohammad Nawaz confesses to not informing PCB about bookies' offers

LAHORE (Dunya News) – All-rounder Mohammad Nawaz has on Wednesday confessed before anti-corruption unit (ACU) that he failed to inform Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) about the offers which he got from the bookies.
The cricketer told that bookmakers approached him during the Australia tour, and admitted that it was his big mistake of not reporting the incident to the board.
It has been disclosed after Nawaz’s confession that ACU is happy over his cooperation, and has decided to give him relaxation in the punishment.
Mohammad Nawaz is likely to be banned for six months from the game, and would be fined from to three to five lac rupees.
It is worth mentioning here that Mohammad Irfan earlier confessed to committing the same mistake. He was banned for one year and fined one million rupees by PCB.
