Pakistan to co-host Blind Cricket World Cup 2018
India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal have agreed to play matches in Pakistan: council
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan is to host several matches of Blind Cricket World Cup 2018 including the final match, Chairman of the council concerned said on Monday.
Syed Sultan Shah, Chairman of Pakistan Blind Cricket Council said that Pakistan and Dubai will host the international fixture in the coming year.
Besides Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Australia, South Africa and West Indies are taking part in blind cricket’s biggest event.
Council chief said that teams of India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal have agreed to play the matches in Pakistan.
The development has come in the same year when Pakistan hosted the final match of Pakistan Super League 2017 in Lahore to a packed stadium where international cricketers had arrived.
