Apex committee likely to clarify ambiguities regarding PSL final today
The meeting will deliberate over possibility of holding final match of PSL in Lahore.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chief Minister of Punjab, Shehbaz Sharif has summoned a meeting of apex committee today (Sunday) to deliberate over allowing cricket authority to conduct final match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2017 in the provincial capital.
It is likely that the apex committee will adopt an official stand in the meeting over either having PSL final played in Lahore or Dubai. Corps Commander Lahore, GOC and other high-level officials will participate in the meeting which is going to be presided over by CM Shehbaz Sharif.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had earlier announced to conduct PSL final of second edition in Lahore, but the decision became doubtful after a fresh wave of terrorism hit parts of country including major cities like Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta.
On the other hand, cricket fans are waiting eagerly to see their stars in action in front of them. It has now become a really big challenge for the administration to host PSL final in Lahore.
