Both the skipper and Rossouw are taking the match away from Karachi Kings as both the players takes the score near to the target. Sarfaraz also reached to his fifty as he hit a massive six of Imad Waim’s last ball which was a juicy full toss. It seems like the luck today is also on Quetta side as all efforts to get a breakthrough by Karachi Kings are in vain. The winning shot was played by Rossouw as he guided Quetta to an impressive win over Karachi Kings.
Over 15 I Score 118/3 I RR Rossouw 58*, Sarfraz Ahmed 33*
The skipper also joins the party as he plays an impressive shot for four more of Shoaib Malik’s bowling in the 11th over of the innings. Meanwhile, the impressive Rossouw scored the second half-century in a row for the Gladiators and that also in crucial situations.
Well Played Rossouw! Well deserved fifty!
The partnership is taking the match away from Karachi Kings as Rossouw and Sarfaraz are join hands to tackle the challenge gallantly. Muhammad Amir was brought in by Sanga in the 15th over, however he didn’t come upto the captain’s expectations and the chase pursues.
Over 10 I Score 79/3 I RR Rossouw 42, Sarfraz Ahmed 11*
Rossouw carries the aggression forward as he hits one boundary of Amir and two of Abrar Ahmad’s over. The South African is enjoying his batting at Dubai as he plays glorious shots all around the wicket. Keiron Pollard’s over was something that Rossouw was most eagerly looking forward to and he takes 19 runs of the over with two massive sixes and a four. Unfortunately for the bowler, a free hit was awarded to the batting side as there weren’t enough fielders in the ring. The master blaster was provided a good support from the skipper at the end. At half-way stage, the Gladiators need 81 runs with seven wickets in hand.
Over 5 I Score 32/3 I RR Rossouw 7, Sarfraz Ahmed 1*
Asad Shafiq and Ahmad Shehzad open the innings from Quetta side as Asad plays a glorious shot for four while opening the account. In the second over, Asad paddles one for four more of the bowling of Imad Wasim. Meanwhile, Ahmad Shahzad also shows some aggression as he played a glorious cover drive for four and a six over mid-on.
The aggression of Ahmad Shehzad was short-lived as a leading edge from his bat of Sohail Khan’s bowling lands safely into Pollard’s hands. The next ball brought despair among Quetta’s fans as Kevin Pietersen was caught by Sanga of the bowling of Sohail. Rilee Rossouw being known for his lusty hitting, lofts a sweep over six.
Sohail Khan is the hero so far for Karachi Kings as he takes 3 wickets in four balls while also sending Asad Shafiq to the pavilion being caught at point by Malik.

Karachi Kings Innings
Over 20 I Score 159/8 I Imad Wasim 6*, Sohail Khan 2*
Babar Azam and Shoiab Malik seemed in aggressive mood as they are playing shots around the wicket. In the 17th over, Shoaib Malik departs after scoring 15 runs as he was caught by Muhammad Nawaz of the bowling of Thisara Parera. Ravi Bopara comes into bat and joins Babar Azam who is making a mark in today’s match with his impressive shots. The impressive inclusion in Pakistan’s batting line reached to his half-century as he lofted one over deep mid-wicket for six.
Babar Azam was unlucky as he got run out immediately after scoring an impressive half century.
Well Played Young Lad!
Ravi Bopara also departs after scoring 16 runs as his uppish hook shot fell into the hands of Zulfiqar Babar of the bowling of Mills. Karachi Kings put up a total 159 for the loss of eight wickets in the allotted twenty overs.
Over 15 I Score 105/4 I Babar Azam 28*, Shoaib Malik 7*
Just when things were leading in the right direction for Karachi Kings, Parera brings the crucial breakthrough for Quetta Gladiators as he removed the skipper who was unable to clear the field and caught by Hasan Khan standing at deep point. This brings the dangerous Pollard to the crease who is desperate to make a mark in PSL 2017.
The dangerous hitter from Caribbean hits a huge six and a four in Muhammad Nawaz over, however played one straight to the fielder at long-on. Shoaib Malik also shows aggression as he lofts one straight for six the moment he comes into bat. With 5 overs remaining in the innings, Karachi Kings are in better position to put a good total on the board.
Over 10 I Score 64/2 I Babar Azam 17*, KC Sangakkara 16*
The sixth over from Perera was a showstopper as he took a stunner of his own bowling while removing Gayle on the third ball of the over. The moment Kumar Sangakara comes into bat, he makes batting look easy on almost every surface. While carrying the innings forward, Babar-Sangakara duo did what they are famous for i.e. taking the pressure away through singles and putting bad ones out of the park. A classic Sangakara shot was played by Karachi s skipper as he lofted one for six of Muhammad Nawaz bowling in the tenth over. At half-way stage, Kings were looking in a mood to put an impressive total on the board.
Video: Chris Gayle departs earlyOver 5 I Score 34/1 I Babar Azam 3*, Chris Gayle 10*
Chris Gayle and Shahzaib Hasan is one of the dangerous opening pairs in PSL 2017 and will be a tough ask for Gladiators’ attack. Chris Gayle showed some aggression as he lofted one for six of the bowling of Muhammad Anwar in the third over.
