Australia needs two wickets to win while Pakistan requires another 108 runs on Day-5
BRISBANE (AFP) - Pakistan were 382 for eight and trailing Australia by 107 runs at stumps on the fourth day of the day-night first Test at the Gabba on Sunday.
Led by Asad Shaif, there was contribution from the tail, especially from Mohammad Amir who scored 48 before getting out to Jackson Bird who took 3 wickets for 94 runs. Mitchell Starc also took 3 wickets with lethal pace.
Shafiq was unbeaten on 100 with Yasir Shah on four as Pakistan will try to chase down the mighty target of 490 runs tomorrow. However, Australia has closed in on victory with just two wickets remaining.
