Najam Sethi to raise PSL issue in PCB meeting today

Sources told that PCB chief wants to appoint Najam Sethi as Managing Director (MD) of PSL.

LAHORE (Web Desk) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Executive Committee Najam Sethi is all set to raise the issue of making Pakistan Super League (PSL) a separate company in Board of Governors meeting today (Tuesday).

According to details, the official would brief the participants of meeting regarding latest progress in the preparations of tournament however, the PSL members would also be taken into confidence over making it an autonomous body.

On the other hand, Chairman PCB Shahryar Khan is also ready to ask questions regarding the issue in order to overcome his reservations.

Sources told that PCB chief wants to appoint Najam Sethi as Managing Director (MD) of PSL.

Earlier, Najam Sethi had announced that he will be no more chairman of PSL from next year.

Majority of the directors and even chairman would be appointed from outside the PCB, he added.
