Ready to leave wicketkeeping if given chance as batsman in team: Kamran Akmal
Akmal said he has improved his batting skills as he never had taken it seriously before.
KARACHI (Web Desk) – Star player Kamran Akmal has said that he is ready to sacrifice wicketkeeping if he gets chance as a batsman in the national team.
Expressing the wish to make place in the team again, Akmal said that he is constantly performing well in domestic cricket so that he may get opportunity to play at international level.
He said he has improved his batting skills as he never had taken it seriously before.
Kamran Akmal urged the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to monitor his play for the purpose of inclusion in the squad.
The player, dropped over an average wicket-keeping in 2014 World T20 in Bangladesh, has recently became the most successful wicketkeeper in the country’s first-class history.
