(Dunya News) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday has appointed English coach Carl Crowe for the bowing of national off-spinner Mohammad Hafeez, reported on Monday.

According to details, star player will undergo bowling test before one-day international (ODI) against England as he has already started working on his action under the supervision of new coach in Worcestershire.

Carl Crowe had also worked a lot with West Indian spinner Sunil Narine to make his bowling action legal.

Hafeez had faced problems with his bowling action since 2014 and in July 2015, he was banned from bowling in international cricket for 12 months after his action was found to be illegal for a second time since November 2014.

"He was not working on his bowling action due to his knee injury which has now improved a lot and he himself is keen to play and bowl in the one-day series," a PCB official said..

Hafeez has taken 47 wickets in Test format, 129 in ODI while 46 wickets have been snatched by the bowler in Twenty20 cricket.
