Umar Akmal denies involvement in Faisalabad theatre fight
Pakistani cricketer says there is nothing wrong with watching a play in the theater
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistani cricketer Umar Akmal denied on Monday regarding his involvement in a fight occurring outside a theatre in Faisalabad on late Sunday night, reported Dunya News.
While addressing the media outside Lahore Press Club, Akmal said that he was not involved in any incident outside the theatre adding that he headed home after watching the play in the theatre.
Akmal stated that there is nothing wrong with watching a play in the theatre and said that the media should refrain from interfering in his personal life. He also said that he has not violated any laws and will facilitate the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in regards to the investigation of the matter.
