PSL: Islamabad team's logo revealed, Wasim, Jones fail to attend
Islamabad United with the symbol of 'Tiger' will be directed by former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Islamabad United’s logo for Pakistan Super League (PSL) has on Sunday been revealed. The federal capital’s team will have ‘Tiger’ as his symbol and will be directed by former Pakistan great Wasim Akram, who said he was delighted to be part of the team, reported Dunya News.
According to details, Islamabad United’s logo has been revealed today. ‘Sultan of Swing’ Wasim Akram will be the director of the team while former Australian batsman Dean Jones will be Head Coach of Islamabad United.
Although Wasim Akram and Dean Jones couldn’t attend the ceremony but in their written message, they hoped the team will perform brilliantly in the league. They further said that this league will help Pakistan find new talent.
On the other hand, Dean Jones said that coaching Islamabad United was no less than a dream coming true for him.

According to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), the cricketer was having no travel documents including visa due to which he was barred from coming out of Benazir International Airport in Islamabad.
Jones was deported to Australia by a flight this noon, the officials confirmed.
Islamabad United is one of the five franchises of country’s first T20 tournament Pakistan Super League (PSL) that is scheduled in February 2016.
