KARACHI (Dunya News) -- Former cricket star Mohsin Khan has urged Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to investigate corruption in Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). He has said that he is willing to go to General Raheel Sharif if investigations are not conducted, reported Dunya News.
Addressing a press conference in Karachi, cricketer Mohsin Khan said that corruption in PCB has put pressure on cricket. He said that persons deemed tainted in Justice Qayyum s report have been made ambassadors of cricket today adding that Mohammad Asif, Salman Butt and Mohammad Amir have damaged the country s reputation and should be banned for life.
Mohsin Khan said that of seven to eight people have monopolized the board. He plead to the PM to conduct investigations into the corruption rampant at PCB adding that he is willing to go to General Raheel Sharif if investigations are not conducted.
Mohsin Hassan Khan said that organizing Pakistan Super League out of Pakistan is mind boggling adding that when UAE did not agree to the series even Jeddah was considered an option. He said that writing letters to Indian cricket board is akin to insulting Pakistanis.
