Zimbabwe will have home advantage but selectors have selected a balanced side, says former captain
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Former Pakistan cricket captain Shoaib Malik has on Thursday said that Zimbabwe tour will be tough. He said that Zimbabwe will have home advantage but the selectors have selected a balanced side for Pakistan, reported Dunya News.
Former captain, and national all-rounder, Shoaib Malik says that Zimbabwe is not an easy opponent. However, he said, the national side is determined to win the series with hard work and good performance. He said that he wouldn’t take Zimbabwe as an easy opponent as they will have the advantage of home conditions. “We are expecting a competitive series”, he added.
Shoaib Malik said that a balanced side has been selected. “National team is in good form and the Twenty-20 series will help preparing for T20 World Cup”, said the former captain. He said that good performance will help the players earn their place in the team and restore their faith.
