Power distribution companies seeks permission to decrease tariff

Power distribution companies have sought permission to decrease power tariff by 0.7 paisa per unit.

Central power purchase company has given an application to the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA), seeking permission to decrease the power tariff by 0.7 paisa per unit. According to the company, the cost of power generation has decreased, therefore, the power tariff should be reduced by 0.7 percent for February.The NEPRA will hear the application on March 29.
