UN urges Argentina, Britain to ease Falkland tension

Ban Ki-moon has urged Argentina and Britain to avoid an escalation in tensions over Falkland.

UN leader Ban Ki-moon on Friday called on Argentina and Britain to avoid an escalation in tensions over the disputed Falkland islands.His appeal came as Argentinas Foreign Miniser Hector Timerman made an official complaint to the United Nations about what he called Britains militarization of the South Atlantic. Britain says it is only carrying out routine operations.
