Saudi Crown Prince has died, a State Department official told the US media on Friday.

There were no more immediate details about his death.Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, 81, was the deputy minister of aviation and defense, and was one of the top figures in the Saudi kingdom. Hes had various medical issues in recent years.In 2009, he was in New York for surgery for an undisclosed illness. At the time, there was speculation that he had been suffering from a serious illness.He had also flown to Morocco for more medical treatments.
