Erdogan gifts home-made electric vehicle to Saudi Crown Prince MBS

(Web Desk) - During his visit to Saudi Arabia, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan presented Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman with Turkiye's very first homegrown electric vehicle, Togg.

This generous gesture took place as part of Erdogan's three-nation Gulf tour aimed at strengthening regional and commercial relations.

Erdogan engaged in one-on-one discussions with the Saudi crown prince MBS and other delegation leaders at the Al-Salam Royal Palace in Jeddah. After their talks, Erdogan gifted the Saudi crown prince a white Togg, which was proudly showcased in the royal courtyard.

A video released by the Turkish government-run news agency, 'Anadolu', depicted both leaders standing beside the electric vehicle. Erdogan occupied the passenger seat, while the crown prince took the driver's seat.

The trade volume between the two countries remained $6.5 billion last year. After Turkish president's tour the trade ties are likely to see new heights.

Subsequently, the crown prince personally dropped off the Turkish president at his hotel. Accompanying Erdogan on this visit were various officials, including ministers, bureaucrats, and around 200 business people, highlighting the significance of this diplomatic endeavor.
