Osama was worried about Al Qaedas infamy.

Osama believed western propaganda has brought a bad name to Al Qaeda. He was also conscious of the fact that it was involved in killing of innocent citizens. He suggested various alternative names like Taifa, Al Touheed, Wal Jihad, Ya Jamaat and Akhilafat-o-Arashida.He also believed the majority of people didn’t approve Jihad.
