Hundreds feared dead or missing in China since torrential rains caused flooding.
Thousands of flood victims in villages in the outskirts of the central Chinese province of Zhejiang are struggling to cope with the aftermath of the worst flooding the area has seen in decades.China has mobilised troops to help with flood relief in the eastern city of Zhuji and raised its disaster alert to the highest level after days of continuous rain forced the evacuation of more than half a million people in central and southern provinces.State media said more than 600,000 people have been evacuated in seven provinces and a municipality after rains in recently drought-stricken areas caused floods and mudslides in the Yangtze River basin.
