Top Afghan officials remain unhurt in mortar attack

A mortar targeted a building when NATO and Afghan officials were attending the inauguration of the countrys largest police training centre in central Afghanistan.According to the interior ministry, Vice President Karim Khalili and Interior Minister Bismillah Khan Muhammadi were also present in the ceremony.According to a government spokesman, the building was jolted in the attack. At least eight people were killed in another attack.
