Japanese PM survives no-confidence vote

Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan survived a no-confidence motion in the lower house opposition.

The no-confidence motion against Prime Minister was filed by the largest opposition party the Liberal Democratic Party but after voting Naoto Kan won with a comfortable win of 293-152 in Japans 480-seat lower house.Prime Minister Naoto Kan may have survived the no-confidence vote but he offered to resign once he had dealt with the worst of the countrys nuclear crisis and tsunami disaster.
