Ali Abdullah Saleh, President of Yemen promised early elections to the opposition.

He made this statement while addressing a rally of thousands of people, but did not give a specific date for elections.The opposition, on the other hand warned of protests in front of government buildings in case Saleh didn’t resign.He said he was making this offer to end bloodshed.
