Yemen: Protestors calling for the ousting of President

Inspired by the protest movement in Egypt, about a thousand Yemeni protesters take to the streets for ousting of President Abdullah Saleh who has been in regime since 32 years.

Chanting the same slogans heard across Egypt in recent weeks, protesters march toward the Presidential palace in Yemen. The people of Yemen want the fall of the regime as unrest ripples throughout the region. About 1,000 people participated in ongoing protests Sunday after clashing with security forces on previous days and they again found themselves confronted by supporters of the regime.Eager to avoid the fate of Egypts fallen ruler, Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh has invited talks with the opposition and promised to step down when his term ends in 2013.
