Obama confident of security of Pakistans nuclear program

US President Barack Obama said he is confident of the security of Pakistans nuclear program. I feel confident about Pakistans security around its nuclear weapons programs, but that doesnt mean there isnt improvement to make in all of our nuclear security programs, Obama told a news conference at the end of a nuclear summit. He said he wanted to help lower nuclear tensions between Pakistan and India, and this would be bolstered by Pakistans decision to sign on to a range of common commitments agreed at the summit. President Obama said the joint action plan agreed at a summit in Washington would make a real contribution to a safer world.Obama also pledged to continue working with Pakistan to secure its nuclear weapons, and to try and get North Korea to return to negotiations over its nuclear weapons program. Obama says he remains hopeful of a united front against Iran's ability to make nuclear weapons.Obama said he had a good relationship with counterpart Hu Jintao, though he continues to believe that there are only some differences between the two great nations.
