The U.S. Coast Guard has ended its search for three people missing from a small plane crash off the U.S. Virgin Islands.A Piper PA-23-250 plane went down early Saturday off St. Thomas with four people aboard. One passenger survived the crash and was rescued from the sea a few hours after the plane crashed into the water.In a late Monday statement, the Coast Guard said it conducted 26 air and sea searches over the last couple of days. But no sign of the missing pilot and two passengers were found.Authorities say the plane had been delivering newspapers to the island of St. Croix and was returning to St. Thomas after picking up a couple of passengers.
