Obama warns Iran of stern action over nuclear program
The US President Barack Obama has warned Iran of stern actions, including military operation, if it doesnt provide all the details of its nuclear program in Geneva Session being held on October 1. Addressing a press conference at the end of G20 conference Obama said that severe steps would be taken against Iran if it didnt abide by the international responsibilities regarding its nuclear program. Obama maintained that US would prefer to resolve Iranian atomic program issue through diplomacy but if this couldnt happen sanctions would be put on Iran. When there is issue of US security, no option including military operation can be ruled out, Obama added. He informed that not only US, UK and France but China and Russia were also demanding IAEA investigations into Iranian atomic program and new atomic plants. On the other hand, Iranian President said Iran's newly-revealed nuclear facility is open for inspection by UN experts. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad insisted that the plant, thought to be under construction near the holy city of Qom, was being built in line with UN regulations.
