More troops needed for Afghan war: General McChrystal
Top US and NATO commander in Afghanistan General Stanley A. McChrystal said that without more troops in Afghanistan, it could be difficult to defeat Taliban. According to a foreign news agency, McChrystal warned in a confidential assessment sent to Washington that he needed additional troops to stop the well-planned attacks of Taliban. He said that the war against Taliban could not be won with limited resources. General McChrystal warns that unless he is provided more forces, the war in Afghanistan is most likely lost.
