Gangs clash kills 4 in Brazil

At least four people were killed while four others injured in a clash between two gangs.

Brazilian police say a shootout between rival gangs inside a restaurant left four dead and four wounded, many of them diners.Jose de Queiroz is the commander of the police unit that responded and told the G1 website that two men on a motorcycle approached the packed eatery in the city of Belo Horizonte Sunday night and started firing. Belo Horizonte is the capital of the southeastern state of Minas Gerais.One of the dead is the gunman. Officers told local media they found him with a submachine gun available only to police and the armed forces.Investigators believe the dispute involved rival gangs but say the majority of the dead and wounded were innocent bystanders. Three of them are in serious condition.
