Nehru, Patel had decided partition of India was certain: Jaswant Singh
Former Indian foreign minister Jaswant Singh said Nehru and Sardar Patel were great leaders but they had decided that partition of India was inevitable. Talking in Dunya News show Policy Matters with Nasim Zahra, Jaswant Singh said he was expelled from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on allegations of praising Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and he disagree with the justifications given by the party leadership. It doesnt matter to me if my book has been banned in Gujarat, this served as catalyst in increasing the sale of the book, he added. He questioned partys ideological politics saying that if they can not raise questions within the party how they would be able to run the system in the country.
