Summary British gardener Graham Barrett set two Guinness World Records in one day with the world's heaviest elephant garlic and snow pea.

(Web Desk) - A British amateur gardener has achieved a rare feat by setting two Guinness World Records in a single day after growing an unusually large elephant garlic and a giant snow pea.

According to foreign media reports, Graham Barrett, from Gloucestershire, England, presented his produce for official assessment at the Wargrave Nursery Plant Centre in Berkshire on June 25.

During the inspection, Barrett's homegrown elephant garlic weighed an impressive 3 pounds and 13.7 ounces and measured 7.5 inches in diameter, earning him the Guinness World Record for the world's heaviest elephant garlic.

Elephant garlic is significantly larger than regular garlic and can grow to several times the size of the conventional varieties commonly available in markets.

On the same day, Barrett secured another Guinness World Record when his Swedish variety snow pea was officially recorded at 0.98 ounces, making it the world's heaviest snow pea.

With the two record-breaking harvests confirmed on the same day, the British gardener completed a remarkable double achievement, adding two new Guinness World Records to his name through his cultivation.
